Homemade Caramel Apple Pie Bombs

Homemade caramel apple pie bombs are an easy, dippable take on the classic dessert. Serve this for an easy party treat so everyone can help themselves.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans country style biscuits
  • 10 soft caramels
  • 1 can apple pie filling apple chopped small
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 1 cup cinnamon sugar 1 cup sugar +1 tablespoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 F, line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside
  • Cut the caramels in half and flatten using your fingers
  • Flatten the biscuits until they are twice their diameter (using your hands or a rolling pin) then add a piece of flattened caramel followed by 1 tablespoon of apple pie filling to the center of each
  • Carefully bring the sides up and seal; then place onto prepared baking sheet at least 1 inch apart and bake in preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown
  • As soon as they are cool enough to handle; dunk into melted butter, allow excess to drip then roll in cinnamon sugar to coat
