Ingredients

  • 1 17.9 oz pkg snickerdoodle cookie mix
  • 1 stick butter melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 21 oz can apple pie filling
  • 4 tbsp caramel syrup
  • 2 tsp cinnamon sugar

Instructions

  • Add the cookie mix, butter, & egg to a mixing bowl. Stir together just until evenly combined. Set aside.
  • Liberally spray an 8x8" baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Add half the batter mixture in dollops evenly into the dish. Sprinkle half the cinnamon sugar evenly out overtop.
  • Spread the apple pie filling evenly out into the dish.
  • Spread the rest of the batter evenly out overtop in small dollops until it's all been used.
  • Sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon sugar evenly out overtop.
  • Drizzle half the caramel syrup evenly out overtop.
  • Bake at 375°F for 30-35 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown on top.
  • Carefully remove the dish from the oven, and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • Drizzle the remaining caramel syrup evenly out overtop, and serve warm!

Notes

  • Make sure to melt the butter before making the batter.
  • You can switch out the pie filling if you want for cherry, etc.
  • Remember there's no such thing as too much caramel on top!
