Crockpot Honey Parmesan Pork Loin

- 4 lb pork loin
- 2/3 cup shredded pecorino roman cheese
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp dried basil
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
Place the roast in the bowl of the crockpot. Set aside.
In a small mixing bowl add the cheese, honey, soy sauce, spices, garlic, oil, and salt. Whisk together until evenly combined.
Pour the sauce evenly out over the pork.
Cover & cook on low for 6-7 hours on LOW, or HIGH for 4-5 hours.
Carefully transfer the cooked pork roast to a cutting board.
Slice the pork and serve!
- Make sure to save the drippings from the roast if you want to make gravy.
- For juicy meat, be sure to let it rest for a few minutes prior to slicing.
- You can use a bigger roast if desired, but you may need to cook it for longer. Pork is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 145.
