- 2 7.5 ox pkgs dry chocolate chip cookie mix + ingredients called for on the packages
- 3/4 cup tail mix
Prepare the cookie dough as instructed on the package directions.
Using a spatula, fold in the trail mix until evenly combined.
Roll the dough into balls roughly 1 1/2 - 2 tablespoons each.
Transfer the dough balls to a non stick cookie sheet, spacing them about 1 1/2 inches apart.
Bake at the temperature and time recommended on the package instructions.
Remove the baked cookies from the oven, and let them cool for 10 minutes. Using a spatula transfer them to a wire rack to finish cooling completely.
Serve with a cold glass of milk and enjoy!
- Use whatever kind of chocolate chip cookie mix and trail mix you prefer.
- To halve the recipe, use one package of cookie mix and 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons of trail mix.
- You can use trail mixes that have cereal or granola in them, but for this recipe I prefer mixes that are more heavily dried fruit, nuts, and chocolate. It creates more of a monster cookie kind of situation.
