Pizza Fries (Viral TikTok Recipe)

If you're looking for a delicious appetizer, these cheesy pizza fries are a delicious new spin on loaded fries. Trust me when I say there's a reason they've been going viral on TikTok. Crispy french fries are topped with layers of melted cheese and savory pizza sauce making for ultimate comfort food.

Ingredients

  • 1 32 oz bag frozen french fries
  • 1 13 oz jar pizza sauce
  • 3-4 cups shredded cheese

Instructions

  • Spread the french fries out on a baking sheet, then bake them according to the package instructions. Once golden brown and crispy, carefully transfer them to a waiting platter. Set aside.
  • Add all of the pizza sauce to a rimmed baking sheet (roughly 15x10 inches). Using a spatula, or the back of a spoon, spread the sauce out in an even layer all over the pan.
  • Sprinkle the cheese evenly out overtop of the sauce.
  • Bake at 425° for 10 minutes.
  • Using a pot holder, carefully hold the hot pan by one end. Hold it up over one end of the fries, and slowly move it so that the cheese slides off and evenly out over the fries.
  • Serve immediately & enjoy!

Notes

  • If you're worried about it sticking, you can lightly spritz the baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray before assembling the toppings.
  • Customize this dish to your liking by playing around with the combination of cheeses and adding toppings.
  • I normally serve this on a platter, but when I make it for sleepovers or just my kids on movie night- I spread some parchment paper on a clean counter top or the kitchen table and add my fries to that. It saves me an extra dish, and the kids find it super fun.
