Ingredients

  • 2 12.5 oz cans cooked chicken drained
  • 12 oz cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 2/3 cup hot sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 1/2 - 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a large mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer, mix until evenly combined.
  • Pour the buffalo dip mixture into a 10" cast iron skillet.
  • Smoke the dip at 250° for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
  • Serve warm with your favorite dipping options.

Notes

  • For extra creamy results, you can add up to 16 ounces of cream cheese.
  • You can use whatever wood chips you'd like. I enjoy pecan, mesquite, or hickory for this.
  • Want it extra cheesy? You can top the dip with extra shredded cheese before smoking, if desired, or even mix in some crumbled blue cheese in addition to the cheddar.
