Brazilian Lemonade (Viral TikTok Recipe)

Brazilian lemonade is a creamy limeade popular in South America that's recently been trending on social media. For good reason too, this 5 minute recipe is the perfect beverage for cooling off with on hot afternoons and warm Summer nights.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 cups ice
  • sliced limes for garnish

Instructions

  • Pour the water into a large pitcher.
    4 cups water
  • Add all of the condensed milk, scraping the can as necessary, and the lime juice to the pitcher. Whisk until evenly combined.

  • Serve the lemonade by pouring it into glasses over the ice.
    2 cups ice
  • Garnish with lime slices, if desired.

Notes

  • While you can add the ice to the pitcher to chill the lemonade, I recommend serving it over ice instead. This prevents the melting ice from diluting the creamy lemonade in the pitcher, especially on warm days.
  • This is best made with freshly squeezed juice, although it's not a must. I juiced 10 large limes which gave me a generous cup of juice and I highly recommend using a citrus press or juicer.
  • You could make this with all lime juice or half lemon, half lime juice if you prefer. The traditional version is 100% lime juice though.
