Slow Cooker Cool Ranch Chicken

Slow cooker cool ranch chicken is an easy 4 ingredient main dish with almost no prep time at all. Let your crock pot turn ho hum chicken into a dish that tastes exactly like your favorite chips! Perfect for wraps, salads, or even in burritos and tacos.

Ingredients

  • 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1 1/2 - 2 lbs)
  • 2 1/2 tbsp ranch dressing mix
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  • Trim the chicken breasts of any fat, then pat dry with paper towels. Add the chicken to the bowl of your slow cooker.
    4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Pour the broth around the chicken and then sprinkle the seasonings evenly out overtop of the meat.
    2 1/2 tbsp ranch dressing mix, 1/2 cup chicken broth, 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 5-6 hours, or HIGH for 3- 3 1/2 hours.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can serve cool ranch chicken over rice, on a bed of lettuce as part of a salad, shredded in tacos or burritos, and in wraps sandwich style.
  • This is delicious in casseroles as well to add a little pizzazz.
  • Use two forks to shred the chicken if desired.
