Slow Cooker Ground Beef Chopped Cheese Sandwiches

- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 large yellow onion diced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp cold water
- 12 slices American cheese
- 4-6 sub buns
- Lettuce and tomato for serving
In a large skillet brown up the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned. Drain off any grease.

To a 6 quart slow cooker add your beef broth, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and black pepper. Let cook on low 4-6 hours.

Mix the cornstarch with the cold water and add to the slow cooker and stir.

Add the cheese slices and stir until melted.
12 slices American cheese
Build your subs with lettuce, tomato and the beef mixture.
4-6 sub buns, Lettuce and tomato

- Make sure you use lean ground beef so it doesn't cook down too much or get too greasy.
- You can use any size sub roll you'd like, just make sure you are using bakery style rolls.
- Top each individual sandwich with whatever condiments you like like mayo, mustard, and ketchup.
