Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups green grapes
  • 1 3 oz box flavored jello mix can use one flavor, or multiple
  • spray bottle filled with water

Instructions

  • Make sure any stems are removed from the grapes, and transfer them to a colander. Rinse them well, and let them drain but do not dry them.
  • Pour jello powder into a clean bowl. Multiple bowls if using different flavors. Add a handful of damp grapes to another dry bowl.
  • Sprinkle the grapes with 1-2 tablespoons of jello powder. Roll them around in the bowl to evenly coat.
  • Lightly spritz any stubborn spots with water and immediately sprinkle on more powder to coat. Spritz, not spray or soak. Toss and roll around once more until all the grapes in the bowl are evenly coated.
  • Transfer the grapes to another clean bowl. Set aside.
  • Repeat until all the grapes are coated.
  • You can eat right away, or chill for 2 hours then serve.

Notes

  • Worried about feeding the kids or yourself too much sugar? Use sugar free JELLO.
  • Make sure you are spritzing and not spraying or soaking the grapes with water. Too much water makes the JELLO run off.
  • If you use multiple flavors of JELLO, use multiple bowls to keep the powders separated.
  • Even though we call these Easter eggs, these aren't just for Easter! Make them year round for a healthy-ish treat.
