Equipment

  • muddling tool

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts lemonade made with powdered mix & mixed according to package directions
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar optional
  • lemon slices for garnish
  • whole strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  • Pour roughly 1/2 cup of lemonade into a glass.
  • Add a handful of berries into the glass plus some of the sugar.
  • Using your muddler, muddle the fruit into the juice. Pour this mixture back into the pitcher of lemonade.
  • Repeat, using lemonade from the same pitcher, until all the berries have been incorporated- using as much or as little sugar as desired.
  • Add ice to several glasses, then pour the strawberry lemonade into each.
  • Garnish with lemon slices and fresh berries, if desired.
  • Serve chilled.

Notes

  • Want to use another fresh berry instead? Feel free to switch it up and use raspberries, blackberries or blueberries instead.
  • The sugar is a totally to taste thing. We prefer our lemonade sweet, but if you prefer it on the tarter side, you may want to skip it.
  • You could do this with your favorite premade store bought lemonade or homemade lemonade as well.
