Apple Pie Fluff Salad

Apple pie fluff salad is a sweet appetizer, dessert, or side dish you'll love serving all fall long! Your family and friends will go crazy for this creamy take on apple pie.

Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz block cream cheese softened
  • 1 tbsp apple pie spice NOT pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 can apple pie filling chopped
  • 2 cups roughly broken dehydrated apple chips
  • 1 16 oz container cool whip thawed
  • 1 premade pie crust
  • 1 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  • To a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese, apple pie spice, and vanilla extract. Using a hand mixer, whip them together until smooth & creamy.
  • Add the apple pie filling, broken up apple chips, and thawed cool whip to the bowl. Using a spatula fold them all in until evenly combined.
  • Brush the melted butter evenly out all over your prepared pie crust, and then bake according to the package directions. Set aside, and allow to cool completely.
  • Break the completely cooled pie crust to crumble it, add the pie crust crumbles to the mixing bowl and fold in to evenly incorporate.
  • Serve & enjoy!

Notes

  • Don't dump your apple pie filling onto a cutting board to chop it, instead use a pair of kitchen sheers and cut into the filling while it's still in the can to keep all the pie filling liquid.
  • For a cuter presentation, you can serve this fluff salad in a baked pie crust.
  • Short cut it by skipping the pie crust and substituting crumbled Nilla wafers or graham crackers instead.
