Say hello to three ingredient banana bread with cake mix.
Fewer ingredients means no measuring and fewer dishes.
And fewer minutes spent prepping the bread.
But it doesn’t mean less taste.
This bread has a delicate cake like crumb and delicious banana flavor you will love.
Ingredients
To make this you need:
- Bananas– Overly ripe bananas
- Cake mix– A standard sized box of yellow cake mix
- Eggs
That’s it!
How to Make
To make this easy banana bread, start by mashing the peeled bananas in a medium sized mixing bowl with a fork.
Add the remaining two ingredients, and stir together until completely incorporated.
If you are using a mixing, fold them in now.
Scrape the batter out of the mixing bowl and into a 9×5″ metal loaf pan sprayed liberally with non stick cooking spray.
Lift the pan 1-2 inches off the counter, and drop it three times to remove any trapped air bubbles.
Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
Once a toothpick comes out clean, remove the banana bread from the oven.
Let it cool for 5-10 minutes in the loaf pan.
Then, run a butterknife around the edges to release the bread from the pan.
Let it continue cooling.
Slice and serve the banana bread.
It can be served warm or completely cooled.
