- Spices– Garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper
- Cream of chicken soup– You could substitute any cream of soup you have on hand
- Chicken broth– You could sub veggie broth if that’s what you have.
- Biscuit mix– A box of Cheddar Bay biscuit mix. This is what makes the casserole so good! Don’t use Bisquick or another kind of biscuit mix.
- Milk– Whole milk
- Cheese– Shredded cheddar
- Topping ingredients– Melted butter and the biscuit seasoning packet
How to Make
This viral chicken cobbler recipe is so easy to make!
To do it, spread the melted butter in the bottom of a 9×13″ baking dish.
Then add the chicken in an even layer, followed by the frozen vegetables.
Season the top with the garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.
DO NOT stir everything together.
In a separate mixing bowl whisk the soup and broth together until they are evenly combined.
Pour this mixture over the vegetables and chicken in the baking dish.
Then in another mixing bowl, mix together the biscuit mix, milk, and cheese just until combined.
Spread this mixture evenly out overtop of the casserole.
Bake the chicken cobbler at 350° for 55-60 minutes.
Then mix the melted butter and seasoning packet together and brush it out evenly overtop of the cobbler crust.
