Easy creamy Greek pasta salad is a yummy take on the traditional dish full of light Mediterranean flavors. Penne gets tossed with a Greek yogurt dressing, cherry tomatoes, refreshing cucumbers, salty olives, and rotisserie chicken for a dish that is perfect as a side or a main course!

This creamy Greek pasta is a lighter take on pasta salad with a Greek yogurt based dressing instead of mayo.

Ingredients
To make this you’ll need:
- Pasta– Use a shorter noodle like penne. If you don’t have penne you could sub elbows, rotini, or farfalle.
- Greek yogurt– Make sure you are using plain Greek yogurt and not flavored Greek yogurt.
- Spices– Minced garlic, dried dill, and salt and pepper
- Lemon juice
- Veggies– Halved cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced cucumbers, and black olives
- Chicken– Rotisserie chicken or leftover grilled or roast chicken chopped into pieces
How to Make
This creamy Greek pasta salad is so easy to make!
To do it, cook the pasta according to the package directions in salted water, just until al dente.
Once the pasta is cooked, transfer it to a strainer and run the pasta under cold water until it’s cool.
Set the pasta aside.
Whisk the yogurt, garlic, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper together in a large mixing bowl until evenly combined.
Add the cooled pasta to the mixing bowl, and toss it until it’s evenly combined with the dressing.
Then gently fold the rest of the ingredients into the pasta mixture.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Stir, then serve and enjoy!
Storing Leftovers
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Tips and Tricks
- You can serve this pasta warm or cold.
- Add other mix ins if you want! Mix in options include: chopped zucchini, chopped pepperoni or salami, thawed frozen peas, crumbled feta cheese, or anything else your little heart desires.
- Want to keep this vegetarian? Skip the chicken and add a can of drained, rinsed chickpeas instead.

Ingredients
- 1 16 oz box penne pasta
- 1 1/2 cups Greek yogurt
- 2-3 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 1/2 tbsp dried dill weed
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cups cherry tomatoes halved
- 2 mini cucumbers thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup sliced black olives can sub kalamata olives
- 1 1/2 cups chopped rotisserie chicken
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the package directions in SALTED water, just until al dente.
- Transfer the cooked pasta to a strainer and run under cold water, stirring, until it's completely cooled.
- Add the yogurt, garlic, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to a large mixing bowl. Whisk together until evenly combined.
- Add the cooled pasta to the mixing bowl, and toss until it's evenly combined with the dressing.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl, tossing gently to combine.
- Cover the bowl, and let the pasta chill for 2 hours.
- Stir, then serve & enjoy!
