Jalapeno popper dip turns your favorite appetizer into an easy to make party dip! A creamy cheesy base stirred with jalapenos and bacon gets baked to bubbly, dippable perfection!
I love jalapeno poppers.
You know the seeded jalapenos that get cut in half and stuffed full of cheese before being breaded and fried?
One of my absolute favorite appetizers!
However, making them at home is a pain.
Who wants to go through all the trouble of seeding jalapenos, stuffing them, breading them, and frying them?
Not me!
So when I want that flavor, I tend to go with jalapeno popper dip.
It has all of that creamy flavor of the filling along with the spice of jalapenos themselves but with only a few minutes of prep.

Yes!
You can make this ahead of time.
Just make up the mixture and put it in the intended prepared baking dish.
Wrap it tightly and refrigerate it until you are ready to bake and serve it.
Prior to serving, unwrap it and bake as instructed when ready to serve.
Tips and Tricks
- For a milder version, substitute poblano peppers for the jalapenos.
- And for an extra spicy version, leave the seeds in the jalapeno peppers!
- Trying not to heat up the house or to keep this warm while you transport? Make it in a crockpot instead. Add the dip to the bowl of your slow cooker, and sprinkle with cheese as instructed. Spread a paper towel out over top of the slow cooker, cover and cook on low heat for 1-2 hours. Dip can be kept hot and creamy on the ‘warm’ setting.
