Cheesy garlic breadsticks transform a ho hum can of pizza dough into a drool-worthy side dish or appetizer everyone loves! And this recipe is easy enough that even the kids can help put it together.

- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or one loaf of homemade pizza dough
- 1 tbsp olive oil for brushing the dough
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1/4 cup shredded provolone optional
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
Roll out pizza dough on a baking pan. Brush dough lightly all over with olive oil.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and provolone, if using, all over the dough. Use your fingers and sprinkle minced garlic all over the dough. Sprinkle Italian seasoning on the top, as desired.
Bake at 425 for 12-18 minutes.
Let sit for 5 minutes before cutting. Use a pizza cutter to cut into breadstick-sized strips. Serve with marinara sauce, if desired.
- Shredded provolone is optional but does add a lot of flavor.
- Want to add another cheesy layer? Sprinkle on some Parmesan too.
- You can add more garlic if desired or skip it all together if you don't do garlic.
