Ingredients

  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
  • 1 1/2 cups cream soda

Instructions

  • Add the scoop of ice cream to a tall glass.
  • Pour the soda over top slowly (it will foam up and you don't want it to over flow), until it's just under the rim of the glass.
  • Serve immediately, with a long tea spoon or straw, and enjoy!

Notes

  • There are other variations like the soda float. With the soda float, use your favorite brand of soda like a can of Coke, orange soda, or root beer and ice cream.
  • Since ice cream melts fast, to help combat this you can freeze the glass for up to 30 minutes before filling.
  • This recipe is easy to double, triple, or even quadruple to serve a crowd.
