- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
- 1 1/2 cups cream soda
Add the scoop of ice cream to a tall glass.
Pour the soda over top slowly (it will foam up and you don't want it to over flow), until it's just under the rim of the glass.
Serve immediately, with a long tea spoon or straw, and enjoy!
- There are other variations like the soda float. With the soda float, use your favorite brand of soda like a can of Coke, orange soda, or root beer and ice cream.
- Since ice cream melts fast, to help combat this you can freeze the glass for up to 30 minutes before filling.
