Skillet Ravioli Lasagna
Skillet ravioli lasagna is an easy one pot meal that turns premade ravioli into a cheesy comforting dish layered with sauce and cheese. This short cut lasagna will be everyone's favorite easy weeknight dinner!

- 2 tbs extra virgin olive oil
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 1/2 yellow onion peeled & diced
- 2 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- 32 oz jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 2 9 oz pkgs refrigerated cheese ravioli
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Add the olive oil to a large skillet, or Dutch oven, set over medium heat. When the oil's hot add the onions, stirring occasionally, until soft. Stir in the garlic and cook for 60 seconds.

Add the meat to the skillet and break it up until completely browned.

Add the sauce, paste, broth, and ravioli to the skillet- stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil, then immediately reduce the heat to a simmer over medium heat. Simmer for 15-20 minutes- until the sauce has reduced and thickened and the pasta's tender.
32 oz jar spaghetti sauce, 1 tbsp tomato paste, 1 1/2 cups chicken broth, 2 9 oz pkgs refrigerated cheese ravioli
Add most of the mozzarella cheese and all of the Parmesan cheese, stirring to combine.
8 oz mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Remove the skillet from heat and top with the rest of the shredded mozzarella. Let the skillet rest until the cheese has melted.
Serve warm & enjoy!
- You can substitute ground beef for the ground sausage or use a 50/50 mixture of the two.
- Add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes for some spice.
- Have frozen ravioli? You can use it in this, but will take double the amount of time to cook.
- You could use beef ravioli if that's your preference.
- For some creaminess, stir in a scoop of ricotta along with the other cheeses called for.
