Creamy Caesar Chicken

Creamy Caesar chicken is an easy 4 ingredient recipe that can be on your table in under half an hour! The results are super versatile and make for a delicious main course served with a side of rice or as an addition to sandwiches, wraps, or salads.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts trimmed of fat
  • 1 cup creamy Caesar dressing
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Mix the dressing and sour cream together until evenly combined. Set aside.

  • Pat the chicken dry using paper towels, then transfer it to an oven safe baking dish or large cast iron skillet.

  • Divide the mixture evenly between all the chicken breasts, spoon it on top then spreading it out in an even layer on each piece.
  • Sprinkle the cheese evenly out over top, starting with the grated cheese and finishing with the shredded.

  • Bake at 375° for 20 minutes, or until chicken reaches 160F in the thickest part.
  • Broil, watching carefully, just until the top's of the chicken are golden brown and bubbly.

Notes

  • If the chicken breasts are on the thicker side, lightly pound them with a meat mallet to flatten them a bit.
  • Don't salt the chicken. The dressing and cheese are plenty salty!
  • Be careful when removing the hot dish from the oven, if you jostle it the creamy topping is likely to slide right off.
  • If the dressing seems like it is separating a bit when you mix it with the sour cream, stir in a little flour.
