Creamy Caesar chicken is an easy 4 ingredient recipe that can be on your table in under half an hour! The results are super versatile and make for a delicious main course served with a side of rice or as an addition to sandwiches, wraps, or salads.
On busy nights, I am all about recipes that I can get together with as little prep as possible.
Of course, whatever I am making has to be something my boys will all eat.
And this creamy Caesar chicken fits the bill.
It’s full of Caesar flavor and so rich from a touch of sour cream and lots of cheese.
Everyone will happily eat this and you’ll happily make it since it’s got almost not prep whatsoever.
Ingredients
To make this you’ll need:
- Chicken breasts– Trimmed of fat
- Caesar dressing– Make sure you are using the creamy kind and not the vinaigrette style dressing.
- Sour cream– Go for full fat if possible.
- Parmesan cheese– Both grated and shredded
How to Make
Making creamy Caesar chicken is a snap!
To do it, just mix the dressing and sour cream together until they are evenly combined.
Set the mixture aside while you prep the chicken breast.
After trimming the fat off the chicken, pat each piece dry with paper towels and put them into an oven safe baking dish or large cast iron skillet.
Spoon the dressing mixture evenly over each chicken breasts.
Top the coven chicken with the cheese, putting the grated on first and ending with the shredded cheese.
Bake the chicken at 375 for 20 minutes or until the thickest part of the chicken reaches 160 degrees.
Then broil the chicken just until the top of the chicken is golden brown and bubbly.
Serve and enjoy!
Can I Make This In A Slow Cooker?
Creamy caesar chicken is easy to make in your slow cooker!
Start by spraying the bowl with non stick cooking spray, then place the chicken breasts in the bottom.
Spread the caesar dressing evenly out overtop of the chicken.
Cover and cook on LOW for 5 hours or on HIGH for 3 hours.
Thirty minutes before the chicken’s done cooking, sprinkle the Parmesan cheese evenly out overtop.
Storing Leftovers
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Reheat in the microwave or in a hot oven until warmed through.
Can I freeze creamy Caesar chicken?
Yes!
Let the baked chicken cool completely and then transfer it to airtight freezer safe containers.
Freeze the chicken for up to 2 months.

Tips and Tricks
- If the chicken breasts are on the thicker side, lightly pound them with a meat mallet to flatten them a bit.
- Don’t salt the chicken. The dressing and cheese are plenty salty!
- Be careful when removing the hot dish from the oven, if you jostle it the creamy topping is likely to slide right off.
- If the dressing seems like it is separating a bit when you mix it with the sour cream, stir in a little flour.
