- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 2 tsp of black pepper
- 2 tsp of thyme
- 1 cup of apple cider

4 bone in pork chops, 2 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tbsp garlic salt, 1 tbsp onion powder, 2 tsp of black pepper, 2 tsp of thyme
In a large pan add the remaining oil and turn the heat to medium high. Once the pan is hot, cook the pork chops until golden brown and cooked all the way through, around 3-5 minutes. (depending on how thick the pork chops are)
Once the pork chops are completely cooked, set aside. Add the apple cider, brown sugar, butter and Dijon mustard and stir with a whisk to get all the bits from the bottom of the pan. Cook on a medium heat until it thickens up.
1 cup of apple cider, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1 tbsp of butter, 1 tbsp of Dijon mustard
Serve the pork chops over mashed potatoes and drizzle the glaze all over top. Enjoy!
- Make sure to dry the pork chops before you coat them in the olive oil and spices.
- If the glaze doesn't thicken up, feel free to whisk together a tablespoon of cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Add the slurry into the glaze and cook it until it is thick.
- Taste the glaze and adjust it according to your taste.
