Ingredients

  • 2 15 oz cans sausage gravy
  • 1 7.5 oz pkt Bisquick buttermilk complete biscuits + water called for on package directions

Instructions

  • Add the canned gravy to a large, oven safe skillet and spread it out in an even layer.
2 15 oz cans sausage gravy
  • Prepare the biscuit mix per the package directions. Add in dollops to the top of the gravy, in as even a coverage layer as possible.
1 7.5 oz pkt Bisquick buttermilk complete biscuits
  • Bake at 350° for 12-18 minutes, just until the dough's set and golden brown on top and the gravy's heated through.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • A large cast iron skillet works really well for this! If your skillet isn't cast iron, make sure it is oven safe.
  • Don't overmix your Bisquick. Just mix it until the dough just comes together.
  • Let the skillet rest for a couple minutes prior to serving to let the biscuits finish setting. It will also make it easier to scoop.
