Easy 5 Minute Pizza Sauce Recipe

This 5 minute pizza sauce is quick, simple, and made with basic pantry ingredients. It's a lifesaver if you forget to buy premade sauce from the store, and it tastes much better too!

Ingredients

  • 1 15 oz can plain tomato sauce
  • 1 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 2-3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a large mixing bowl.
    1 15 oz can plain tomato sauce, 1 6 oz can tomato paste, 2-3 cloves garlic, 1 tbsp dried oregano, 1 tsp dried basil, 1/2 tsp sugar, salt & pepper
  • Stir everything together until evenly combined.
  • Use and enjoy!

Notes

  • The seasonings can be adjusted to fit your individual taste/preference.
  • For extra flavor and a bit of heat, add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes to the sauce with all the other ingredients.
  • Don't skip the sugar. It really does cut the acidity down.
