- 2 8 oz tubes refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 16 oz pkg thinly sliced roast beef
- 16 slices provolone cheese
- 1 1 oz pkt au jus gravy mix
Carefully unroll and separate the crescent roll dough on a large baking sheet pan sprayed lightly with nonstick cooking spray.
2 8 oz tubes refrigerated crescent roll dough
Add a slice of roast beef and cheese (torn in half) to each dough triangle.
1 16 oz pkg thinly sliced roast beef, 16 slices provolone cheese
Starting from the wide end, roll the crescent roll dough up then place it seam side down on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat until all the crescent rolls have been filled and rolled.
Bake at 375° for 15 minutes, until golden brown.
Prepare the gravy according to the instructions on the packet while the rolls cook. Set aside.
1 1 oz pkt au jus gravy mix
Let the rolls cool for 5 minutes, then serve with the prepared au jus for dipping.
- For a little kick spread the crescent roll dough with a bit of creamy horseradish sauce before adding the meat and cheese.
- You can really use any kind of cheese you like though provolone is traditional. Smoked provolone or extra sharp would work and add extra flavor.
- To take it up another notch, brush these with some melted garlic butter just before serving.
