- 2 lbs fresh green beans washed & ends snapped
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 lb ham diced
- 4 large russet potatoes peeled & quartered
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
Add the prepared beans to the bowl of the slow cooker, then pour in the broth. Add water, only if needed, to cover the beans completely.

Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl of the slow cooker.
1 lb ham, 4 large russet potatoes, 2 tsp onion powder, 2 tsp salt, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp black pepper
Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 hours, or until the beans are fork tender.
Stir well until everything's evenly combined.

- Fresh green beans are best for this recipe, but you can substitute well-drained, canned green beans or frozen green beans. If you're using frozen green beans add 1 hour to the cook time.
- If you want to save some prep time, you can normally find fresh green beans with the ends snapped off in steamer bags in the produce department.
