Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup ditalini pasta
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 1/2 tbsp tomato sauce your favorite brand
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Add the pasta and water to a large microwave safe mug. Microwave for 7 minutes stopping to stir at minutes 5, 4, 2, 1, and finally at 30 seconds remaining.
1/3 cup ditalini pasta, 3/4 cup water
  • Carefully remove the now hot mug from the microwave. Add both the sauce and cheese to the mug and stir to evenly combine.
2 1/2 tbsp tomato sauce, 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Microwave 30 more seconds.
  • Stir again, serve warm, and enjoy!

Notes

  • I find mugs can get very hot when microwaved for long periods so I like to place mine in the microwave on a cloth pot holder to make taking it in and out easier (and safer).
  • Stir, stir, stir! It keeps the pasta from sticking together.
  • Make sure you aren't using a small mug. You want to use a 15 ounce mug or larger.
