How To Air Fry Steak

Learn how to air fry steak and treat yourself to a delicious meal any time! This is a game changing way to make steak quickly and easily right without firing up the grill.

Ingredients

  • 2 1" thick ribeye steaks
  • 1 tbsp evoo
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning optional
  • salt & pepper
  • garlic butter for serving

Instructions

  • Rub both sides of each steak with olive oil then season it on both sides with Italian seasoning (if using), salt, and pepper.

  • Place the steaks in the basket of the air fryer, but making sure they aren't touching or overlapping. Cook at 400° for for 12 minutes, flipping over at the halfway point.
  • Carefully transfer the steaks to a waiting plate, and let them rest for 10 minutes.
  • Top with a pat of butter, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

  • You don't have to use Italian seasoning, you can sub another seasoning you prefer- including steak seasoning. You could also omit the seasoning altogether, but don't skip the salt and pepper.
  • When flipping the steaks, use tongs so that you don't burn yourself on the air fryer basket or the hot meat.
  • This recipe should result in a perfectly cooked medium steak; however, it won't have a traditional 'sear'.
  • Keep in mind that different brands of air fryers may cook differently.
