Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz can store bought frosting
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  • Start by adding canned frosting and butter to stand mixer with the whisk attachment.
1 16 oz can store bought frosting, 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • Beat on high for 2-3 mins.
  • Add the extract and heavy cream to the frosting.
1 tsp vanilla extract, 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
  • Whip on high speed for 5 more minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use any flavor of icing as the base.
  • Not sure what flavoring to use? Vanilla is a safe bet for any flavor of frosting. Almond extract would jazz up vanilla frosting and mint or peppermint extract would be a nice pairing with either chocolate or vanilla frosting.
  • Use this on cakes, cupcakes, or cookies.
