- 6 soft taco sized flour tortillas
- nonstick cooking spray
Pull off 6 large sheets of aluminum foil, then roll each one into a roughly 4" ball. Arrange the balls in two rows on a large rimmed baking sheet.
Working with one tortilla at a time, spray both sides liberally with nonstick cooking spray. Lay the tortilla on top of one of the foil balls. Repeat until all are sprayed and each is on a foil ball.

Gently press the tortilla sides/edges down against the balls to form a 'bowl' shape.
Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes, or until the shells are crispy and lightly golden brown.
Carefully remove the hot tortilla shells from the foil balls and transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Use and enjoy!
- Don't want to waste foil? Out of foil? No worries! You can use deep oven safe bowls instead
- Part of the beauty of these tortilla bowls is customizing them with your own seasonings. Sprinkle on sea salt, chili powder, lime zest, or your other favorite seasonings.
- Don't skip the cooling time before you fill them. This time helps them hold their shape.
