Ingredients

  • 1 53 oz can pork & beans
  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper
  • 1 tbsp dried minced onion
  • 2 tbsp real bacon crumbles
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2-3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp spicy brown mustard
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  • Spray a 9x13" baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Add all of the ingredients to the prepared baking dish and stir together until evenly combined.
    1 53 oz can pork & beans, 1/2 cup diced green pepper, 1 tbsp dried minced onion, 2 tbsp real bacon crumbles, 1/4 cup ketchup, 2-3 tbsp brown sugar, 2 tbsp spicy brown mustard, 2 tbsp molasses, 2 tsp worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • Bake at 350°, uncovered, for one hour.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes, then serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use your favorite brand of baked beans.
  • Take them up another notch by topping them with some shredded cheddar cheese or French fried onions.
  • For a little heat, you can stir in a teaspoon of hot sauce. If you want less spice, use dijon mustard instead of spicy brown mustard.
