- 1 lb fresh green beans ends trimmed
- 3 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp butter roughly chopped
- salt & pepper to taste
Add the liner to your Instant Pot then add the green beans, broth, and garlic to it. Season with salt and pepper, to taste, then stir everything together to evenly combine.
1 lb fresh green beans, 3 tsp minced garlic, 1/2 cup chicken broth, salt & pepper
Add the pieces of butter evenly on top of the green beans.
2 tbsp butter
Add the lid, turning to close, and set the vent valve to the sealed position. Cook on low pressure for 5 minutes.
Carefully open the vent valve for a quick release, making sure to avoid the escaping hot steam.
Gently stir the beans, serve warm, and enjoy!
- Be sure to perform a quick release and not a natural release, otherwise the beans will soften too much and become mushy.
- You can adjust the amount of garlic to suit your taste.
- No broth? You could use water but you'll likely need more salt!
