Korean Beef Ramen
Korean beef ramen turns packets of ramen noodles into a full meal in under 30 minutes! Just add some ground beef and seasoning and dinner is done and delicious!

- 2 3 oz pkts ramen noodles seasoning packets discarded
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tsp ginger paste
- 3 cloves garlic pressed or minced
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 packed cup brown sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 green onions thinly sliced, for garnish
Bring water to a boil in a medium pot then add the noodles and cook, stirring occasionally, for three minutes.

Strain the noodles and run them under cold water just long enough to stop them cooking. Set aside.
Add the beef to a skillet, cooking and crumbling, until browned throughout- about 6-8 minutes. Drain off grease.

Add the ginger paste and garlic to the beef and stir to combine. Continue cooking for another 60 seconds.
2 tsp ginger paste, 3 cloves garlic
Add the remaining ingredients to the skillet, stir everything together until evenly combined, and cook for 2-3 more minutes.
1/3 cup soy sauce, 1/3 packed cup brown sugar, salt and pepper
Add the noodles to the skillet and gently toss with the sauce until evenly combined, then cook for another 2-3 minutes to thicken the sauce.
Serve warm topped with green onions, and enjoy!

- Add a little heat with some chili paste or chili flakes.
- You could substitute ground chicken for ground beef.
- Other garnish options include sesame seeds, fried wonton strips, crispy chow mein noodles, and lime wedges.
