Marry Me Chicken Dip

Marry me chicken dip turns the flavors of the delicious entree into a creamy appetizer, perfect for spreading on baguettes or dunking other dippers into. This warm chicken dip is cheesy and welcome at any occasion from game day gatherings to cozy dinners at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped rotisserie chicken
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves
  • heaping 1/2 cup chopped sundried tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese + more for topping
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 8 oz block cream cheese softened & cubed
  • real bacon bits for garnish

Instructions

  • Spray an 8x8" baking dish with nonstick spray. Set aside.
  • Add all of the ingredients, except bacon, to a large mixing bowl and stir them together until evenly combined.
    1 1/2 cups chopped rotisserie chicken, 1/2 cup chicken broth, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, 1/2 tsp dried oregano, 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves, heaping 1/2 cup chopped sundried tomatoes, 1 tbsp minced garlic, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, 1 8 oz block cream cheese
  • Transfer the dip mixture to the prepared dish and spread it out in an even layer with a spatula.
  • Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes.
  • Sprinkle some extra shredded Parmesan cheese evenly out overtop along with the bacon bits and bake for 10 more minutes.

Notes

  • For best results when mixing everything together for the dip, I recommend blending with a hand mixer. Pulsing everything in a food processor will also work.
  • Let the cream cheese come to room temperature so it mixes together more easily.
  • Adjust the seasonings to suit your tastes.
