Mongolian Meatballs (Slow Cooker Recipe)
Mongolian meatballs are an easy recipe to make right in your slow cooker! Reinvent frozen beef meatballs by cooking them in a sweet but savory Asian inspired sauce.

- 2-3 lbs frozen beef meatballs
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup water
- 2 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
Add all of the ingredients to the bowl of the slow cooker, except the meatballs, and whisk them together until evenly combined.

Add the meatballs and gently toss until they're completely coated.
2-3 lbs frozen beef meatballs
Cover and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours, or HIGH for 3, stirring 1/2 way through the cook time. Give everything a good stir to evenly coat at the end.
Serve as an appetizer with toothpicks, or warm over a bed of steamed white rice for a meal.
- Garnish these with thinly sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
- Round out a meal with a side of your favorite steamed veggie and toss it in some of the sauce that's left in your slow cooker.
- If you want a little more zip in your sauce you can add more garlic and ginger and a dried chile pepper.
