- 1 .7 oz pkg Italian dressing mix
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil can substitute canola oil
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp dried Italians seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 - 1 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- If you don't want to shake the dressing in a jar to combine, add the ingredients to a large mixing bowl then whisk together until evenly combined.
- This makes roughly 1 cup of dressing, and 1/4 cup is a serving size, though you can use as much or as little as you like.
- I like to give this a quick taste before I add the salt. Sometimes the Italian dressing packets are fairly salty and it may be salty enough. It really depends on brand and your preferences.
