parmesan cheese
- You can use mozzarella or an Italian cheese blend in place of Parmesan if you prefer.
- Brighten up the pesto by squeezing a little lemon juice into the sauce.
- Don't want to use a star shaped piece of cheese as a tree topper? A cherry tomato would be an easy substitute!
