Ingredients

  • 1 lb hot ground sausage
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 1/2 cups bisquick
  • 1 12 oz tub pimento cheese

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a large mixing bowl, and using a hand mixer mix them together until evenly combined.
1 lb hot ground sausage, 4 oz cream cheese, 1 1/2 cups bisquick, 1 12 oz tub pimento cheese
  • Roll into 1 - 1 1/2" balls and arrange them in rows in a parchment paper lined rimmed baking sheet. Continue until all the mixture's been used.
  • Bake at 400° for 18-22 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.

Notes

  • I do not recommend trying to stir the ingredients together with a spoon or spatula unless you really want an upper arm workout. The best method is with a hand or stand mixer, and the second is using clean, or gloved, hands.
  • Want to up the spice factor? Seed and mince a large jalapeno and add it to the mix.
  • You can use homemade pimento cheese or the store bought version in this recipe.
