Just 2 minutes, a handful of ingredients, and one jar and you are good to go!
Ingredients
To make this you need:
- Heavy cream– Don’t substitute for lower fat cream or milk. It won’t work.
- Wine vinegar– Either red or white wine vinegar will work.
- Salt and pepper– To taste.
How to Make
Making this is ridiculously easy!
Just add the cream and vinegar to a mixing bowl and whisk it until the mixture is slightly thick.
OR you could add the cream and vinegar to a mason jar, seal it and give it 2 to 3 shakes to thicken it.
Then, just season with salt and pepper to taste and enjoy!
How much dressing does this make?
This makes the perfect amount of salad dressing for 1 regular sized bagged salad.
Can I make this ahead of time?
No. This doesn’t store well so you’ll want to make it just before serving.
Tips and Tricks
- You can easily double or triple the recipe, as needed.
- Want to add a little bit more flavor? Add a crushed garlic clove or roasted garlic clove for a creamy garlic version, or chopped basil and a touch of parmesan for a basil parmesan dressing.
- If you use a mason jar to make this, you only need to shake it 2 to 3 times. Any more and it will be too thick.
