How to Make

This side dish is so easy to make!

Just add the butter, sugar, and cinnamon to a large skillet over medium heat, whisking together as it melts until evenly combined.

Heat just until the mixture’s begun to bubble and then pour all of the (well drained) carrots into the skillet, gently tossing to coat.

Continue cooking for 5 minutes, stirring often, until the sauce has thickened nicely and coats the vegetables.

Serve and enjoy!

Tips and Tricks

  • You can transfer this mixture to an oven safe dish  and top with marshmallows then broil until melted and toasted for a simple but excellent side dish style casserole.
  • Don’t like sweet sides? Skip the sugar and cinnamon, and instead season with savory herbs, like garlic and onion powder.
  • Canned carrots are already tender, do not over stir/handle or you may accidentally mush them.
  • If making for the holidays, add a splash of orange juice to the sauce to really take it up a notch.
