Soft, fluffy Hawaiian rolls in stuffed with a buttery cheesy filling and baked to golden melty perfection.

It’s the perfect side for spaghetti and meatballs or really anything you can think of!

Ingredients

To make this you’ll need:

  • Hawaiian rolls– A 12-16 count package of rolls with 2 slits cut into the top of each halfway through.
  • Butter– Salted butter, softened.
  • Parsley– Fresh chopped parsley
  • Garlic– Fresh garlic minced
  • Cheese– Both grated Parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese

How to Make

This cheesy Hawaiian roll garlic bread is pretty easy to make!

Just put the prepared rolls into a 9×13″ baking dish you’ve liberally greased with butter.

Stuff cheese into each slit.

Then whisk the butter, parsley, and garlic together in a small bowl until combined.

Spread the garlic herb butter over top of the rolls.

Bake the buttered, stuffed rolls at 400 for 9 to 11 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden brown.

Serve warm and enjoy!

Storing Leftovers

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for a day or so.

Keep in mind though that refrigerating the bread will make it loose its texture.

Because of that, you should definitely heat this in the oven again to crisp the bread back up.

Tips and Tricks

  • If you don’t have salted butter, you can use unsalted and just add a pinch of salt to it.
  • You could play with the cheese and add some provolone to the mix or another Italian cheese.
  • Make sure to wash the parsley well before using it to remove all the grit in the leaves.

Ingredients

  • 12-16 count Hawaiian rolls 2 slits cut into the top of each, halfway through
  • 1 stick salted butter softened
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parlsey washed thoroughly
  • 2 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Put the prepared rolls into a buttered 9x13" baking dish.

  • Stuff the slits with the cheese.
    1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese, 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Put the butter, parsley, and garlic in a small bowl, and whisk together until evenly combined. Spread the seasoned butter evenly out overtop of the cheese stuffed rolls.
