Ingredients

To make this you’ll need:

  • Bakery bread– Either a loaf of Italian bakery bread or sourdough bakery bread
  • Butter– Softened to room temperature so it’s easy to spread
  • Ranch seasoning– Your favorite variety of dried ranch
  • Cheese– Shredded cheddar
  • Dill– Dried or fresh. Totally optional.

How to Make

Making cheesy ranch bread is so easy you can make it anytime!

To do it, stir together the softened butter and ranch seasoning in a small bowl.

Set it aside.

Then, using a serrated knife, carefully cut the bread in half lengthwise.

Place both halves of bread on a baking sheet, cut side up.

Spread the seasoned butter out evenly over both cut sides.

Sprinkle the cheese over the buttered bread, and sprinkle a little fresh or dried dill over the top if desired.

Bake the cheesy ranch bread at 350 degrees for approximately 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges of the bread are starting to brown.

Serve immediately.

Enjoy!

Storing Leftovers

I don’t recommend storing these for more than a day or so as the bread will get very soggy.

However if you do have leftovers, wrap them very tightly in foil and refrigerate them.

Reheat the bread in a warm oven until the cheese is melted again.

Tips and Tricks

  • Turn this bread into a meal by adding shredded chicken and crumbled, crisp bacon.
  • Serve it with a side or ranch dressing for dipping.
  • Make sure you are using bakery bread and not packaged sliced bread.
