How to Make
Air fried Babybel cheese bites are pretty easy to make!
Start by removing the packaging and wax from the cheese circles.
Set the cheese aside to set up your breading station.

To do that, put the flour in one shallow bowl, the beaten eggs in a second, and bread crumbs in a third.
Working with 1 piece of cheese at a time, add it to the flour turning to evenly coat on all sides.
Shake off any excess flour.
Then dip the floured piece of cheese into the egg, making sure it is coat on all sides.
Dipped the egged cheese in to the bread crumbs, making sure to turn it and press the bread crumbs into the cheese if needed for an even coating.
Repeat this until you’ve breaded all the cheese.

Spray the basket of an air fryer with nonstick spray.
Add the breaded cheese to the basket until the basket is full but none of the cheeses are touching.
Spray the breaded cheese bites lightly with nonstick spray.
Air fry the cheese bites at 380° for 5-7 minutes.
Transfer them to a serving plate and repeat, if needed, for the rest of the cheese.
Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping, and enjoy!

Storing Leftovers
These fried Babybel cheese bites are best served fresh.
However if you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Reheat them in the air fryer at 300 for about 3-4 minutes or until the cheese has melted again.

Tips and Tricks
- It’s VERY important to ensure an even coating of all layers, especially the bread crumbs, on all sides to seal in the melted cheese and prevent it from leaking out of its breading.
- Depending on how many cheese bites you’re making, you may have to cook them in batches. There needs to be space between all the cheese bites in the basket of the air fryer for the hot air to circulate properly and cook them evenly in the allotted time.
- This recipe easily adjusts down or up depending on how many bites you want to make.
