Easy Roasted Garlic (Air Fryer Recipe)
Easy roasted garlic adds so much flavor to anything! And roasting it in the air fryer is quicker and just as delicious as roasting it in the oven!
You know what tastes better than regular garlic?
Roasted garlic.
It enhances the natural sugars in the garlic, meaning the garlic’s bite sort of mellows out while the other flavors deepen.
And while you can roast garlic in the oven, our easy roasted garlic recipe is an air fryer recipe.
This means it’s less time between you and garlic heaven.
Ingredients
To make this you’ll need:
- Garlic– You can’t make roasted garlic without garlic itself! You’ll want 4 large garlic bulbs.
- Olive oil– Don’t substitute a different oil.
- Seasoning– Salt and pepper. Optional minced fresh garlic.
How to Make
Thanks to the air fryer this is an easy roasted garlic recipe!
Start by slicing off the pointed top of each garlic bulb.
Put each garlic bulb in the center of their own square of foil so they can be individually wrapped later.
Drizzle a tablespoon of oil over each.
Season with salt and pepper if you’d like.
Then wrap the foil tightly around the garlic bulbs.
Air fry the garlic bulbs at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
Unwrap the garlic and gently squeeze the bulbs to release the cloves into a sealable container.
Sprinkle with fresh minced parsley if desired.
Enjoy in your favorite recipes!
Storing
Store the roasted garlic in an airtight container in your fridge for up to a week.
You can also freeze roasted garlic in a freezer safe, airtight bag or container for up to 3 months.
Tips and Tricks
- If your garlic bulbs are very large or small, you may need to adjust the cooking time up or down.
- To tell if your garlic is done, you can give the bulbs a squeeze. If it is soft, squishes out the top of the bulb and is lightly golden brown, it is probably good. If it isn’t soft, you can pop it back in your air fryer for another minute or two.
- Don’t peel the garlic. You are cooking the whole head. The cloves will easily release from the peel once you cook the garlic.
