You know what tastes better than regular garlic?

Roasted garlic.

It enhances the natural sugars in the garlic, meaning the garlic’s bite sort of mellows out while the other flavors deepen.

Storing

You can also freeze roasted garlic in a freezer safe, airtight bag or container for up to 3 months.

Tips and Tricks

  • If your garlic bulbs are very large or small, you may need to adjust the cooking time up or down.
  • To tell if your garlic is done, you can give the bulbs a squeeze. If it is soft, squishes out the top of the bulb and is lightly golden brown, it is probably good. If it isn’t soft, you can pop it back in your air fryer for another minute or two.
  • Don’t peel the garlic. You are cooking the whole head. The cloves will easily release from the peel once you cook the garlic.
