We almost always have frozen fish sticks in the freezer.

They are a great in a pinch meal.

The only trouble?

I never know what to serve with them.

Fries? Salad? Rice? What?

Well these fish stick wraps take the need for sides right out of the equation.

They turn the frozen entree into a complete, taco style meal with no need for tons of sides.

Ingredients

To make these you’ll need:

  • Fish sticks– You’ll want to use a thicker cut, quality fish stick since they’re the ‘meat’ in this recipe. I recommend the Trident brand fish sticks.
  • Wraps– Flour tortilla style wraps
  • Tartar sauce– A quality tartar sauce like this homemade tartar sauce recipe
  • Veggies– Diced tomatoes, chopped lettuce, diced red onion

How to Make

Fish stick wraps are so easy!

To make them, cook the fish sticks per the directions on the package.

Once the fish sticks are cooked, let them cool so that they’re still warm.

Then assemble the wraps by spreading the tarter sauce evenly out over one side of all the wraps, then top each with 1/4 of the chopped lettuce.

Add four fish sticks to the center of each wrap, then sprinkle the diced tomatoes and onion on top.

Roll up your wrap and cut in half.

Serve and enjoy!

Storing leftovers

I don’t recommend storing leftover fish stick wraps as the wraps will get soggy.

Tips and Tricks

  • While I use green leaf lettuce in these wraps, you can use pretty much any leafy green you like. Romaine and butter crunch work well, and you could also go for a spring mix or even baby spinach.
  • Use a quality tartar sauce for these wraps. This is the only sauce, so it’s a main flavor that is going to shine through.
  • You can add other toppings if you like such as shredded cabbage, sliced avocadoes, or even cheese.
