Italian Caper Deviled Eggs
These Italian caper deviled eggs are a flavorful twist on the classic appetizer with briny capers and Italian-inspired seasonings. They’re just as easy to make as classic deviled eggs and a delicious appetizer for parties, gatherings, and holidays.

Being from the South, deviled eggs are almost always on the menu for a party or holiday and are always a hit.
While my roots are Southern through and through, my hubs comes from an Italian American family and these Italian caper deviled eggs combine both our heritages with a bold, savory upgrade.
Briny capers and a sprinkles of crushed red pepper flakes balances the creamy filling.
And like traditional deviled eggs, they come together quickly with simple ingredients.
Your guests will love them and so will you since you can make them ahead of time.

Ingredients
To make these you’ll need:
- Hard boiled eggs– You can make them in the oven.
- Mayonnaise– Real, full fat mayonnaise and not mayonnaise style dressing or low fat mayo.
- Capers– Some for the filling and some for garnish
- Italian seasoning– Your favorite variety
- Crushed red pepper flakes

How to Make
Making Italian caper deviled eggs is very similar to making regular deviled eggs.
Start by cutting the peeled hard boiled eggs in half lengthwise.
Scoop the yolks out into the bowl of a food processor and put the hollowed out whites on a serving plate.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the food processor with the yolks and pulse them together until they are smooth.
Scoop the filling into a large ziplocking bag or a piping bag.
Twist the top of the bag to remove the air and push the filling into one corner.
Make a small snip to cut off the plastic corner of the bag and squeeze a dollop into each shell, dividing the filling evenly.
Garnish them with an extra sprinkle of Italian seasoning and capers.
Serve and enjoy!

Storing Leftovers
Store leftovers tightly wrapped or in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
