Do you call sandwiches served on a long roll hoagies, heroes, or subs?

We call them hoagies, but they are all really the same thing and they are all delicious.

My favorite variety is definitely an Italian hoagie, which is loaded with salami, ham, pepperoni, and veggies like red onion and pepperoncini peppers.

While they are delicious, they don’t hold up particularly well if you make them ahead of time as the bread gets soggy in the fridge.

Well now you can have all the flavors you love in this easy make ahead Italian hoagie pasta salad!

It takes everything you crave in the sandwich and turns it into an easy, make ahead dish that is hearty enough to serve as a main dish but versatile enough to be a side.

Speaking of versatile, you can swap meats, cheeses, or veggies based on what you have on hand or what your family loves most.

Pretty good for a humble pasta salad!
