A slice of pumpkin pie is always on our Thanksgiving dessert menu. The holiday wouldn’t feel complete without it.

However after enjoying my slice I’ve pretty much eaten my fill until the following year, and my family seems to agree. Meaning there’s always extra slices leftover that no one’s volunteering to eat, and tossing it isn’t an option for me.

Luckily with some vanilla ice cream and a trusty kitchen blender, you can toss in a slice and enjoy a cold creamy leftover pumpkin pie milkshake.

Who doesn’t love a milkshake, especially one chock full of Fall flavor? It’s our new favorite way to enjoy leftover pie and ready in just 5 minutes!

Ingredients Needed

Nothing should stand between you and this delicious milkshake, and that includes a long ingredient list.

To make it you’ll need:

  • Milk – For best results whole milk should be used. Less fat will lead to a thinner milkshake.
  • Ice Cream – Use a quality brand vanilla ice cream you enjoy.
  • Pie – Leftover slices of pumpkin pie
  • Whipped Cream – For topping and serving. Alternatively you could use a spoonful of thawed whipped topping.

Once you’ve gathered your ingredients you’re ready to whip it up!

How To Make

Five minutes is all you need until you’re sipping on this delicious Fall treat.

Start by adding the milk, ice cream, and pie to a blender. Blend together until everything’s evenly incorporated and the texture’s thick, yet creamy.

Pour the milkshake into a single large glass, or divide it evenly between two small glasses for sharing.

Top with whipped cream, serve immediately, and enjoy!

Storing

Unfortunately these easy pumpkin milkshakes don’t store well, and melt quickly, so make them when you’re ready to enjoy them.
