Pancake And Waffle Breakfast Board
This pancake and waffle breakfast board is the perfect way to start any day! This breakfast and brunch display can easily feed a crowd and can be customized to your crew’s preferences, making it a hit for any morning gathering!
I am not a morning person.
Except MAYBE on December 25th.
But every other day?
Forget it.
It’s a struggle to make a functional breakfast before coffee.
But with this pancake and waffle breakfast board, I don’t have to do much other than put cooked, frozen pancakes and waffles on a pretty serving tray.
And it can feed as many people as you need it to.
Plus you can totally customize it to fit your crowd’s tastes.
It’s perfect for any morning but pretty enough to serve for any brunch occasion.
Ingredients
To make this you’ll need:
- Pancakes– Frozen buttermilk pancakes prepared to the directions on the package.
- Waffles– Frozen waffles prepared to the directions on the package.
- Fruit– Any combination of fresh fruit you like. We used sliced bananas, halved strawberries, and blueberries. You could use those and other favorites like raspberry or even cut up pineapple.
- Yogurt– Any flavors you like. We used strawberry and vanilla.
- Toppings– Mini chocolate chips, cocoa rice cereal, syrup, and/or honey.
How to Make
This pancake and waffle breakfast board is so easy!
Just arrange the pancakes and waffles on a serving tray or board so they look pretty.
Put the yogurt and toppings into small prep bowls and add them to the board.
Fill in the empty spaces on the board with fruit.
Serve and enjoy!
Storing Leftovers
Don’t store the pancake and waffle breakfast board all together.
Ideally, you will only make enough pancakes and waffles to feed everyone and won’t have leftovers.
If you do, pop them in a ziplock-ing bag and put them in the fridge.
Store any leftover fresh fruit in an airtight container in the fridge.
Discard any of the yogurt that was sitting out.
Tips and Tricks
- You could do this with homemade pancakes and/or waffles if you want, but frozen is perfectly fine. The key is presentation and toppings!
- Feel free to make several varieties of pancakes and waffles like plain, chocolate chip, blueberry, etc.
- These toppings are our favorites. You can omit anything you don’t like and add other toppings like chopped nuts, shredded coconut, or dried fruit if you prefer.
