Steak Fajitas (Air Fryer Recipe)
Air fryer steak fajitas are a quick, flavor packed dinner made with tender strips of steak, peppers, and onions cooked all together in the basket of your air fryer. This easy recipe delivers restaurant style sizzling fajita flavor in 20 minutes right at home!

We love heading out for Mexican food, and one of my favorite things to order is a platter of sizzling fajitas.
My wallet, however, does not love that option so much especially since every one of my family members also loves them.
That adds up quick when you’re talking about feeding 6 people!
But don’t despair!
If fajita night sounds amazing but you’re on a budget and you’re tired, these air fryer steak fajitas are about to become your new best friend.
The air fryer makes cooking up juicy steak and tender yet crispy peppers and onion easy.
You still get those classic fajita flavors without a lot of muss and fuss in a way that’s much easier on your wallet.
Whether you serve them in warm tortillas, over rice, or piled onto a salad, this 20 minute meal works any night of the week!

Ingredients
To make these you’ll need:
- Steak– We used New York strip thinly sliced against the grain. However, you can use other cuts of steak like sirloin.
- Peppers– Green bell peppers and red bell peppers, seeded and thinly sliced.
- Onion– A large yellow onion, peeled and thinly sliced.
- Olive oil– Extra virgin
- Fajita seasoning– A 1.25 ounce packet of your favorite kind
- Flour tortillas– Or other fixings like rice or green salad for serving

How to Make
Air fryer steak fajitas are so easy to make!
Just stir the steak strips, sliced onion, sliced peppers, olive oil and lime juice together in a large bowl until everything is well coated in olive oil.
Season the mixture with the fajita seasoning, tossing together to coat all the pieces.
Spread the steak and veggies out in an even layer in the basket of your air fryer.
Air fry them at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket to toss everything halfway through.
Serve them up warm in tortillas.
Enjoy!

Storing Leftovers
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Reheat them in the air fryer at 350 for about 4 minutes or until warmed through.

Tips and Tricks
- Make sure to slice the beef into more or less equal sized strips.
- While I like using a mix of red and green bell peppers, use any bell peppers you like.
- When you put the steak mixture in the air fryer, make sure to spread it out into an even layer so nothing is piled on top of each other. This will help it cook evenly.
